Breckenridge, Keystone resorts announce Opening Days for 2024-25 winter season
Vail and Beaver Creek also announced their projected opening dates

On Wednesday morning, Aug. 14, Vail Resorts announced Keystone Resort is slated to open in mid-October, while Breckenridge Ski Resort is scheduled to open a few weeks later on Nov. 8.
Outside of Summit County, Vail Mountain is set to open on Nov. 15 with Beaver Creek Resort and Crested Butte Mountain Resort both scheduled to open on Nov. 27.
All projected opening dates are subject to change based on winter conditions.
After announcing a mid-October target date for opening last year, Keystone Resort was the second ski area in Summit County to open last season, hosting opening day on Nov. 1. Breckenridge Ski Resort opened over a week later on Nov. 10.
