The Summit Foundation announced Ellen Reid as the organization’s new executive director.
Read, who has already started her new role, joins the organization after holding positions like director of community impact at Breckenridge Grand Vacations and executive director of the Keystone Science School, where she was credited with transforming the organization during her 16-year tenure.
Her background also includes teaching middle school math and science.
“(Reid’s) extensive background in education, community-building, and nonprofit leadership makes her the perfect fit for this role,” Summit Foundation board president Barb Rankin said in a recent news release.
Community members are encouraged to stop by and meet Ellen as she leads the Foundation into this exciting new chapter, representatives said.
