Between 3-8 inches of snow is expected to accumulate in areas above 9,000 feet elevation in Summit County according to a winter weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service.

Winds gusts of 35 miles per are expected with the storm. The advisory expires at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The storm is expected to linger in southern Colorado from Wednesday to Saturday, causing potential snow fall to occur across the state, though the most significant snow beyond Wednesday is expected to remain in the southern half of the state, according to OpenSnow.com.

This storm comes after a system dropped 20 inches at Copper Mountain Resort and 16 inches at Breckenridge Ski Resort on Sunday into Monday morning. Keystone Resort and Arapahoe Basin, both of which opened on Saturday, Nov. 2, received less snow during this last storm, roughly 5 inches.
